4" flat box

My DD's birthday was this week and her party is tomorrow, so all week I've been making goodie bags (2,4,6,8 bag), 3" cards (shown above) and this little 4" flat box for them to stamp and take their cards home in.

I need to say over the years I've shared heaps of files, and received lots in return, but I was a little horrified when I tried cutting some of the envelope ones. So this file I've made from scratch which has the necessary turning points, the fold lines dashed in and thats all. No millions of nodes here! Thanks. I'll be making more envelope files since my other ones are useless. If you have a size request please let me know.

Cherish Mesh

This is a 12" mesh I made to go with the Cherish title. My scanner has cut the end off, but it does cut the full length, just make sure you have a mat 13.5" or longer. I made one from a plastic placemat, trimmed to the same width as my normal mat and sprayed it with repositional krylon spray.

Our Happily Ever After

A couple of months ago my brother got married, they went to Fiji and had their wedding their way. Thus the inspiration for the title. It would suit any marriage situation or ceremony. The flowers you can see in the background are not included as part of the cutter file, just forgot to scan it before I stuck it to my layout.

The Tooth Fairy is coming

Almost every other day at the moment one of my three kids is losing a tooth. So I thought this title was quite appropriate.

I thought I'd share a layout I've just finished. Its from the NSW Surf Life Saving Jnr State Titles help back in Feb/Mar. There's 3 pages, the title page is a RHS, and then the other 2 make a dbl page spread.

Bubs

I have lots of scrapbook pages still to do. Although they aren't getting done very fast because I'm too busy making cutter files! Track

One place I always seem to take photos of my kids is when they are running at athletics. Their athletics carnival is on again next Monday, so I've made this in preparation. I hope you can use it too. The boy running is another original design.

Whether its for photos of trying to get the kids to smile, or a photo of someone taking a photo, or a page about how you love to scrapbook, this file covers them all. Having a whale of a time

Continuing on our magical journey this week brings you my unicorn. Another original design. I know he's pale in he pic, thats because my DD requested he be white with a pink backing, to match the unicorn that sits on her bed. He is a paper piecing. Hope you like him.

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums ( or Moms) that visit my blog. Its really lovely to see all those little flags that pop up on the world map. My kids are really enjoying discovering all of your countries. Especially hi this week to Mozambique (sorry if I got your spelling wrong), Spain and France, and South Australia (yes I know you are a state, lol).

So Happy Mothers Day, and I hope you have a lovely day where ever you are. And that you are treated to something special like me... cold toast, half cooked crumpet, and hot chocolate mix without the water.

Dragon

This little dragon can be cut as a girl dragon (shown) or a boy dragon. My DD said only boy dragons are fire breathing. How she knows this I'm not sure, but I've included it here so you can see it as well.

Under the Sea

Another of my little drawings. this time an underwater animal. Perfect for aquarium photos, scuba diving, Great Barrier Reef, at the beach or pool, or as I'm going to use it, for my nursery photos.

I've drawn the veins in with a white pen which is very easy. Start with the across lines, then link from top to bottom with small concave lines (thats a flatish U shape in normal speak, lol). And the Sea Horse can be cut seperate from the title if required.

Monkey

This week I received my KNK Studio GE software which was very exciting! This is my first design from it. Its a monkey I drew in my sketchbook from my week of camping in the rain. The cutter file is available in GSD, SVG, AI, EPS, KNK. Hope you like him.

Lion

This is the stand alone lion from the Zoo Tales. I've cut him double the size of the original in the cutter file. He is cut from bazill and chalked.

Zoo Tales

The lions are always a favourite to see when visiting the zoo. I've designed my lion as a stand alone paper piecing and also attached to the title as shown here. I enjoyed drawing him, I hope you like him too.

Mr Mischief

I was asked by a customer to create Mr Mischief to go with my Little Miss Mischief. Since I have 2 boys this was definately not a problem! I sure do know what mischief little boys can get into.

He comes seperate from the title and also matted with the title.

No files today

Sorry people. No file today. I had to take my dog to the vet because a grass seed burrowed into his foot and it became infected. I picked out at least 60 of them after we picked him up after camping. Even after getting him clipped we obviously missed one. And we discovered that I do not have a very strong stomach. He's home now and has had a couple of hours sleep that his pain medication must've helped with. He's still hopping around, but hopefully should be better in a couple of days.

I have a file ready to cut which is a customer request. I'll try and get it done tonight and post tomorrow for you.
