Digital Layout

I need a new mat, and some kid free time to do some cutting, so unfortunately I haven't done any cutting of my new files this week. I did however create another digital layout. I'm not entirely happy with it, but I did learn a few steps in the program, and learn that I need more memory in my laptop to successfully play with it! All items are from PSE 6.0 This is where we spend our Sunday mornings.




I'm also taking the kids camping this week so it will be at least another week before I can post any new files.

Snow Day

DH is away in Virginia. It is so cold, its -17C. Today was a snow day. They trudged through the snow to get to Subway, only to find out a snow day means everything is closed. They did finally get some food, but the coldness has apparently frozen my camera!

My First Digital Layout

I downloaded almost a month ago PSE6 for a months free trial. Well the months almost up and I really haven't achieved anything with it. I've found it confusing and the help function not very helpful. The only benefit was when it automatically downloaded my photos from the camera when I connected it to my suprise. So this morning I decided I'd better find some tutorials and get working. I'm still not happy with it, and the tuts were for PSE 3/4/5, but I did manage something shareable. Here it is...

Love frame

This goes with the love in heart. Its one of 2 frames in the file. The second has the love angled lower to not cover as much of the photo. It is saved to fit a 6x4 photo. There is also an extra 'love' welded and matted in the file as well to complement your page.

I made this one for a RAK for a SS sister. I really like how it turned out and it cuts so nicely. I'm working on a frame and a couple of other elements to go with it which I will post later.

Off to Big School

My youngest started school last year and I'm just catching up on scrapping last years photos. I made this to go with his photos for his first day off school. He was determined to catch the bus to school with his brother and sister, irrelevant that it was his first ever day of school.

My boys love playing with their train sets. Its often we have them looped all around the upstairs play room. I designed this to go with one of their pages.

Happy New Year!

I can't believe its the new year already. 2007 just flew by. We spent a lovely New Years Eve with friends at the golf club and were treated to some beautiful fireworks and then we spent New Years Day at the lake with family and had great fun being towed on the torpedo behind the boat.

So its been a very busy couple of weeks, but I have made a couple of files, just need to fire up the CR and get cutting so I can share. You are gonna like!
